An emerging Playwright, Speaker, Actor, Author and Songwriter, Cheryl Nembhard continues to make her mark in the Gospel Entertainment Industry. Cheryl has dedicated her life to presenting God's love in creative, cutting edge and bold ways.Her brand new Gospel Musical 'My Brothers Keeper' (July 2011) marks the 5th production of her rising career as a Playwright. This much anticipated play follows on the heels of her smash hit Stageplay 'The Ultimate Sacrifice', which recently transitioned from the church stage to sold out performances at Mirvish's Panasonic Theatre. Other productions include Women of Colour, The Victory & King of Glory. She is currently working on several new Theatre projects, mounting a national tour for 'The Ultimate Sacrifice' & working on a novel. Graduated student of both Theatre and Music , Cheryl continues to strive to set the standard in Canadian Gospel Theatre by writing, directing and composing all original music in her shows. Cheryl Nembhard's unique writing style , strong visual imagery & brand has created a large grass roots following in her native Toronto, Canada.Cheryl's past experience has included stage managing for the Toronto run of Guys & Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof and Heavens Rehearsal (2008) at the Rogers Centre. Cheryl has also served as Artistic Director for Toronto City Mission, developing Creative Arts programs for At Risk Youth. Cheryl Nembhard is the Co -Founder and Artistic Director of Exousia Media Group Inc, a Christian Multimedia Entertainment Company.Cheryl is proud to serve as an Ordained Minister and Worship Leader at Rhema Christian Ministries under the Senior Leadership of Pastor Orim M. & Lady Judith Meikle. Cheryl is a loving Wife and Mother of 3 children.

From the Writer and Director , who brought the Gospel smash hit Musical 'The Ultimate Sacrifice', comes a brilliant story of forgiveness, family, hope and overcoming tremendous obstacles .This powerful story is set in present day and revolves around a young African Canadian man named Calvin Thompson, an ordained pastor, who was adopted into a Caucasian family at birth.They are the picture of a perfect family except for...Ryder, the black sheep of the family, struggles tremendously with crime and addiction, finds himself losing the battle with his dark nature. Constantly living in Calvin's shadow, Ryder struggles with an intense love/hate relationship with his older brother.Calvin is recently assigned to a new church in a tough area known as 'The Village' where his world collides with some amazing foster kids...with a dark secret.Calvin finds himself caught in a whirlwind of drama and is forced to make decisions that could tear his very world apart.
